There are two different tiers of registration that you may sign up for:

General membership - $35. This gives you access to our private Facebook group, any field trips planned by our members, and seasonal events like our back to school picnic and Christmas party.
Co-op membership - $250 .In addition to everything listed above, you also become a member of our weekly co-op program. This runs on Tuesday afternoons from 12:30-3:30pm throughout most of the school year. Please see the welcome email for more information, or contact [email protected] if you did not receive it.

Co-op page

We are excited to once again be offering MCHA co-op this year! Please see the original welcome email for more details. (If you have not received this email, please contact us at [email protected]).

Co-op will run for the months of October, November, January, February, March, and middle April (indoors). We meet during the month of May at different park locations (weather permitting). The cost to participate is $230 (early bird), $250 (after June 5th) per family.

We have made some changes to the age groups to help keep group sizes manageable and ensure kids are surrounded by more similarly-aged peers.

There are 4 age groups this year:

Little Arrows (LA): age 0-4
Kids For Christ (KFC): age 5-8
His 2 Obey (H2O): age 9-12
God Squad (GS): age 13+/high school

If you would just like to be a general member, and are not interested in co-op, please answer "No" to the below question and enter N/A in any subsequent required questions.

Are you interested in registering for MCHA Co-op this year?*

Co-op runs as a cooperative effort and requires volunteer efforts from all of its members to be successful. Please indicate what subject/general topic you would be interested in teaching as an elective class, as well as the age group you would prefer to assist with. This question is just to gather initial ideas and a coordinator will be in touch with you to discuss further. Answering "I don't know" or "not sure" is not acceptable.*

As part of being a member of our indoor co-op, you will be asked to plan one field trip at some point during the year. This can be simple and you are free to pair up with another family to plan one together. Tuesday program participants are required to organize at least one fieldtrip a year, general members are encouraged to do likewise. Please name a possible field trip you'd be willing to plan.*

I have read and accept the Articles of the Constitution, MCHA Weekly Co-op Program Guidelines and Field Trip Guidelines as the policy of our group and understand that all our support group activities will be conducted in a manner that is in line with our policy. In consideration of being allowed to participate in the Programs organized by the Mississauga Christian HomeschoolAssociation (“MCHA”) and its serve team members, organizers, volunteers, administrators and executors (the “MCHA Officials”), namely, any athletics/sports program, field trips, group events and activities (the “Activities”), the undersigned hereby acknowledges, appreciates and agrees that :1. The risk of injury from the Activities involved does exist despite particular rules, equipment and personal discipline may reduce this risk; 2. I knowingly and freely assume all such risks both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of the Releases (defined term herein) or others and assume full responsibility for my and/or my child(ren)’s participation; 3. I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation. If, however, I observe any unusual or significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the MCHA Officials; 4. I, for myself and on behalf of my child(ren), hereby release and hold harmless MCHA, MCHA Officials, event organizers, agents and/or employees, other participants, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event (collectively, the “Releases”), with respect to any and all injury, disability, death or loss or damage to person or property, whether caused solely or partly by the negligence of MCHA, MCHA Officials and the Releases. I have read this release of liability and assumption of risk agreement, fully understand its terms, understand that I have given up substantial rights by agreeing with it freely and voluntarily without any inducement.*
